Therapy in English

It is essential in psychotherapy/counseling that you feel understood and can express yourself with as few barriers as possible, not only because our emotional experience is very closely related to our language.

In private and business context I was able to learn, talk and live with the english language. Although I am not a native speaker  I feel comfortable in conducting therapy with English speaking clients.

I am a licensed psychotherapist with university degree and a degree in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).  I provide modern psychotherapy treatments for a large spectrum of problems and deseases as: burn-out, depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic-stress disorder, coping with the past, crisis (private or job related).

Aimed at people who have never consulted a psychotherapist and who would like to find out about the options available in case of mental health problems I invite you to download a brochure published by the Federal Chamber of Psychotherapists here.

Payment

My fees are based on the GOP (Gebührenordnung für Psychotherapeuten). The fees are usually covered by most of the private health insurances if there is an indication for psychotherapy. Unfortunately, public health insurance („gesetzliche Krankenversichrung“) doesn’t cover the fees, as I am a private practice. In any case you should check with your health insurance whether the costs of psychotherapy will be covered. If you chose to pay for yourself, you don’t have to worry about any formalities.
